Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Insurance, Hotels & Tourism and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170), which rose 7.66% or 3.21 points to trade at 45.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) added 5.45% or 0.83 points to end at 16.05 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 5.21% or 2.87 points to 58.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which fell 9.07% or 1.61 points to trade at 16.15 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) declined 7.98% or 2.54 points to end at 29.30 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was down 6.90% or 5.08 points to 68.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 126 to 37.
Shares in Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.21% or 2.87 to 58.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.73% or 0.43 to $59.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.42% or 0.28 to hit $66.50 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.42% or 5.00 to trade at $1177.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.43% to 4.2270, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 95.38.
