Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.68% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 10.07% or 2.90 points to trade at 31.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) added 3.61% or 1.20 points to end at 34.40 and Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) was up 2.36% or 0.45 points to 19.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030), which fell 10.08% or 3.90 points to trade at 34.80 at the close. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) declined 7.57% or 0.95 points to end at 11.60 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) was down 7.41% or 2.20 points to 27.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 137 to 24 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in United Electronics Company (SE:4003) rose to 52-week highs; rising 10.07% or 2.90 to 31.70.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.12% or 0.06 to $48.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $51.41 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.05 to trade at $1204.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.09% to 3.9983, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.20.
