Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Media & Publishing and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040), which rose 5.09% or 0.55 points to trade at 11.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) added 3.55% or 0.55 points to end at 16.05 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) was up 2.88% or 1.10 points to 39.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 4.78% or 0.55 points to trade at 10.95 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) declined 4.71% or 0.45 points to end at 9.10 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was down 4.32% or 0.60 points to 13.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 120 to 31 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.95% or 0.47 to $50.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.92% or 0.46 to hit $50.20 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.58% or 7.05 to trade at $1230.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.08% to 4.1800, while USD/SAR fell 0.59% to 3.7284.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.45% at 94.97.
