Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Industrial Investment and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010), which rose 8.07% or 2.60 points to trade at 34.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) added 3.77% or 0.90 points to end at 24.80 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was up 3.06% or 1.75 points to 59.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080), which fell 7.59% or 2.30 points to trade at 28.00 at the close. Bank AlJazira (SE:1020) declined 4.26% or 0.53 points to end at 11.90 and Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) was down 3.53% or 2.50 points to 68.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 41 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) rose to 52-week highs; up 8.07% or 2.60 to 34.80.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $53.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.16% or 0.09 to hit $55.89 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 10.65 to trade at $1264.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 3.9804, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7512.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 100.73.
