Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Retail and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008), which rose 7.21% or 8.00 points to trade at 119.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 6.39% or 2.30 points to end at 38.30 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was up 6.05% or 3.75 points to 65.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100), which fell 3.06% or 0.60 points to trade at 19.00 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) declined 2.72% or 0.20 points to end at 7.15 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) was down 2.71% or 0.70 points to 25.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 71.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.44% or 0.22 to $49.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.10% or 0.06 to hit $52.85 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.74% or 8.60 to trade at $1164.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.12% to 4.2652, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7497.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.16% at 94.78.
