Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Energy & Utilities and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 9.88% or 3.40 points to trade at 37.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Savola Group (SE:2050) added 6.70% or 2.60 points to end at 41.40 and Saudi Marke (SE:4006) was up 6.43% or 1.80 points to 29.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which fell 8.67% or 1.70 points to trade at 17.90 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) declined 4.68% or 0.70 points to end at 14.25 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) was down 4.15% or 1.30 points to 30.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 103 to 56 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in United Electronics Company (SE:4003) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.88% or 3.40 to 37.80.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.16% or 0.08 to $48.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.15% or 0.08 to hit $51.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1234.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.57% to 4.0512, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 99.65.
