Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Retail, Telecoms & IT and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Sedco Capital REIT (SE:4344), which rose 5.58% or 0.53 points to trade at 10.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) added 2.98% or 0.68 points to end at 23.48 and Bawan (SE:1302) was up 2.70% or 0.95 points to 36.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which fell 9.38% or 2.58 points to trade at 24.92 at the close. Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) declined 5.10% or 2.70 points to end at 50.20 and Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) was down 4.46% or 0.70 points to 15.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 150 to 51 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.98% or 0.68 to 23.48. Shares in Bawan (SE:1302) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.70% or 0.95 to 36.20.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.02% or 0.61 to $60.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.04% or 0.66 to hit $63.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 13.35 to trade at $1746.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.4768, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 91.945.
