Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Real Estate Development and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 9.94% or 2.04 points to trade at 22.56 at the close. Meanwhile, United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) added 9.89% or 1.28 points to end at 14.22 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 8.65% or 0.96 points to 12.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230), which fell 3.51% or 2.30 points to trade at 63.20 at the close. Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) declined 2.68% or 0.58 points to end at 21.10 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) was down 2.43% or 0.26 points to 10.42.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 73 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.53% or 0.36 to $68.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.68% or 0.51 to hit $75.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 10.60 to trade at $1258.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.3752, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 94.18.
