Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Telecoms & IT and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110), which rose 9.97% or 5.70 points to trade at 62.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) added 9.93% or 2.75 points to end at 30.45 and Sumou Real Estate Company JSCC (TADAWUL:4323) was up 9.12% or 5.40 points to 64.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320), which fell 7.83% or 6.10 points to trade at 71.80 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) declined 5.38% or 1.06 points to end at 18.66 and SICO Saudi REIT Fund Unit (TADAWUL:4337) was down 4.93% or 0.27 points to 5.21.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 177 to 106 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.97% or 5.70 to 62.90. Shares in Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.93% or 2.75 to 30.45. Shares in Sumou Real Estate Company JSCC (TADAWUL:4323) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.12% or 5.40 to 64.60.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.74% or 1.44 to $81.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.52% or 1.33 to hit $86.05 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 7.10 to trade at $2,152.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.22% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 103.79.
