Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Multi Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Yamamah Saudi Cement Co. (SE:3020), which rose 3.95% or 0.72 points to trade at 18.96 at the close. Meanwhile, Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) added 3.48% or 2.80 points to end at 83.30 and Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) was up 3.32% or 0.90 points to 28.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which fell 4.87% or 1.55 points to trade at 30.25 at the close. Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) declined 3.68% or 0.56 points to end at 14.64 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was down 3.49% or 0.38 points to 10.52.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 58 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 7.46% or 1.79 to $25.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 3.73% or 1.11 to hit $30.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 13.55 to trade at $1702.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.0466, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7565.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 100.412.
