Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Retail, Financial Services and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Hokair Group (SE:1820), which rose 5.80% or 1.12 points to trade at 20.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Umm Al-Qura (SE:3005) added 5.26% or 1.40 points to end at 28.00 and SABB Takaful (SE:8080) was up 4.81% or 0.84 points to 18.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which fell 3.39% or 1.20 points to trade at 34.20 at the close. Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) declined 3.18% or 0.95 points to end at 28.95 and Arabian Centres Co (SE:4321) was down 2.86% or 0.90 points to 30.55.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 94 to 85 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.80% or 1.12 to 20.42. Shares in Umm Al-Qura (SE:3005) rose to 3-years highs; rising 5.26% or 1.40 to 28.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.59% or 0.93 to $57.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.18% or 0.76 to hit $63.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.25 to trade at $1556.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.11% to 4.1619, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7513.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 97.220.
