Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Agriculture & Food and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370), which rose 2.91% or 0.30 points to trade at 10.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) added 2.54% or 1.05 points to end at 42.40 and National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) was up 2.44% or 0.40 points to 16.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130), which fell 1.56% or 0.38 points to trade at 23.98 at the close. Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) declined 1.54% or 0.90 points to end at 57.40 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) was down 1.52% or 1.20 points to 77.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 88 to 86 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.80% or 0.46 to $56.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.53% or 0.34 to hit $63.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 3.15 to trade at $1417.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.05% to 4.2309, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.338.
