Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 6.99% or 0.70 points to trade at 10.72 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 6.78% or 1.95 points to end at 30.70 and Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) was up 5.62% or 0.50 points to 9.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which fell 9.97% or 0.75 points to trade at 6.77 at the close. Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) declined 2.42% or 0.70 points to end at 28.20 and The Saudi British Bank (SE:1060) was down 2.42% or 0.80 points to 32.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 113 to 70 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.62% or 0.50 to 9.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.71% or 0.40 to $56.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.10% or 0.67 to hit $61.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 10.20 to trade at $1515.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.06% to 4.1363, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.377.
