Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Transport and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120), which rose 9.49% or 1.20 points to trade at 13.85 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) added 9.27% or 0.70 points to end at 8.25 and Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) was up 7.12% or 2.50 points to 37.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which fell 1.17% or 0.15 points to trade at 12.65 at the close. Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) declined 1.14% or 0.75 points to end at 65.25 and Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) was down 0.82% or 0.20 points to 24.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 141 to 22 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.25% or 0.12 to $48.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.33% or 0.17 to hit $51.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.51% or 30.15 to trade at $1230.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.0233, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 100.31.
