Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Transport and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020), which rose 5.67% or 1.60 points to trade at 29.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) added 5.63% or 0.65 points to end at 12.20 and Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SE:2010) was up 5.17% or 4.25 points to 86.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120), which fell 3.38% or 0.50 points to trade at 14.30 at the close. Saudi Marke (SE:4006) declined 3.11% or 2.25 points to end at 70.00 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was down 2.06% or 0.60 points to 28.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 108 to 58.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.92% or 0.44 to $48.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.02% or 0.53 to hit $51.85 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.83% or 9.50 to trade at $1139.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.2240, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 95.56.
