Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Industrial Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070), which rose 5.78% or 1.60 points to trade at 29.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290) added 4.88% or 0.90 points to end at 19.35 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) was up 4.38% or 0.65 points to 15.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070), which fell 2.54% or 0.60 points to trade at 23.00 at the close. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) declined 1.76% or 0.60 points to end at 33.50 and Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) was down 1.35% or 2.00 points to 146.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 22 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.89% or 0.42 to $47.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.49% or 0.24 to hit $49.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.37% or 4.95 to trade at $1322.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.22% to 4.1862, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 95.80.
