Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.88% or 0.85 points to trade at 9.45 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) added 7.89% or 0.60 points to end at 8.20 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 7.66% or 0.85 points to 11.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110), which fell 1.00% or 0.20 points to trade at 19.90 at the close. Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) declined 0.88% or 0.10 points to end at 11.25 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) was down 0.87% or 0.40 points to 45.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 140 to 17 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.64% or 1.18 to $45.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 3.11% or 1.44 to hit $47.69 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.70% or 9.45 to trade at $1347.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.1590, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 96.38.
