Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Transport, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270), which rose 9.28% or 2.70 points to trade at 31.80 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) added 9.24% or 2.25 points to end at 26.60 and Saudi Marke (SE:4006) was up 5.26% or 1.50 points to 30.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which fell 3.58% or 1.30 points to trade at 35.00 at the close. Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) declined 3.36% or 2.50 points to end at 72.00 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was down 2.47% or 0.100 points to 3.950.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 20 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.24% or 2.25 to 26.60.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.35% or 0.17 to $47.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.30% or 0.15 to hit $50.49 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.45 to trade at $1252.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.11% to 4.0445, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7501.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 99.51.
