Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Real Estate Development and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Electronics Company (SE:4003), which rose 10.31% or 3.30 points to trade at 35.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) added 9.76% or 2.80 points to end at 31.50 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 9.46% or 0.350 points to 4.050 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001), which fell 1.92% or 2.00 points to trade at 102.00 at the close. Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290) declined 1.75% or 1.00 points to end at 56.25 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) was down 1.75% or 0.35 points to 19.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 121 to 34 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in United Electronics Company (SE:4003) rose to 52-week highs; rising 10.31% or 3.30 to 35.30.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.59% or 0.76 to $48.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.34% or 0.68 to hit $51.60 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.25 to trade at $1200.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 3.9842, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.44.
