Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.92% or 1.75 points to trade at 19.40 at the close. Meanwhile, AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) added 6.53% or 1.30 points to end at 21.20 and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260) was up 4.65% or 0.80 points to 18.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320), which fell 4.36% or 1.30 points to trade at 28.50 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 3.61% or 0.150 points to end at 4.000 and Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) was down 1.35% or 0.15 points to 10.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 116 to 41 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) rose to 52-week highs; rising 6.53% or 1.30 to 21.20.
Crude oil for May delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $49.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $51.70 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1229.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.28% to 4.0266, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 100.14.
