Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Industrial Investment and Cement sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331), which rose 6.54% or 1.40 points to trade at 22.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 4.42% or 2.00 points to end at 47.20 and Riyad REIT (SE:4330) was up 4.24% or 0.60 points to 14.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which fell 5.15% or 0.75 points to trade at 13.80 at the close. United Electronics Company (SE:4003) declined 2.90% or 1.10 points to end at 36.80 and Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) was down 2.58% or 0.90 points to 34.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 97 to 52 and 28 ended unchanged.
Shares in AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) rose to all time highs; up 6.54% or 1.40 to 22.80.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.08% or 1.03 to $48.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.16% or 1.13 to hit $51.28 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.74 to trade at $1266.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.0770, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 99.06.
