Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Multi Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which rose 9.45% or 2.90 points to trade at 33.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) added 6.56% or 0.40 points to end at 6.50 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was up 4.61% or 0.65 points to 14.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which fell 3.13% or 0.50 points to trade at 15.45 at the close. Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) declined 2.66% or 0.35 points to end at 12.80 and Jabal Omar Development Company (SE:4250) was down 2.66% or 1.75 points to 64.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 100 to 40 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.68% or 1.24 to $47.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.53% or 1.21 to hit $48.98 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.51% or 6.70 to trade at $1318.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.04% to 4.1333, while USD/SAR fell 0.45% to 3.7342.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.46% at 96.11.
