Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Retail, Financial Services and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which rose 5.73% or 2.75 points to trade at 50.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 4.26% or 0.90 points to end at 22.05 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) was up 3.52% or 1.40 points to 41.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280), which fell 5.03% or 1.25 points to trade at 23.60 at the close. Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) declined 5.03% or 1.90 points to end at 35.90 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was down 3.76% or 0.50 points to 12.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 82 to 64 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.17% or 0.09 to $52.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.20% or 0.11 to hit $55.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 8.60 to trade at $1285.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.09% to 4.0205, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 99.59.
