Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.76% or 1.20 points to trade at 13.50 at the close. Meanwhile, BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 8.91% or 2.70 points to end at 33.00 and ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) was up 5.98% or 2.80 points to 49.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which fell 5.44% or 1.60 points to trade at 27.80 at the close. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) declined 1.96% or 0.90 points to end at 45.10 and Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031) was down 1.94% or 1.00 points to 50.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 112 to 41 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.91% or 0.49 to $53.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.87% or 0.49 to hit $55.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.45 to trade at $1256.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 3.9733, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 101.04.
