Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Financial Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200), which rose 5.60% or 1.64 points to trade at 30.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) added 3.36% or 1.90 points to end at 58.50 and Arab National Bank (SE:1080) was up 3.11% or 0.74 points to 24.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which fell 5.46% or 1.79 points to trade at 31.00 at the close. Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) declined 3.96% or 0.37 points to end at 8.97 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was down 3.52% or 0.81 points to 22.18.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 109 to 69.
Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) rose to 3-years highs; rising 3.36% or 1.90 to 58.50.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.08% or 0.04 to $50.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $55.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.28 to trade at $1279.18 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.19% to 4.4123, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 93.27.
