Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.45% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 9.81% or 2.65 points to trade at 29.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) added 6.98% or 1.20 points to end at 18.40 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was up 4.70% or 1.14 points to 25.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070), which fell 4.04% or 1.70 points to trade at 40.40 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 2.67% or 2.00 points to end at 73.00 and Almarai Company (SE:2280) was down 1.68% or 1.40 points to 81.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 96 to 66 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.81% or 2.65 to 29.65. Shares in Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) rose to 52-week highs; rising 6.98% or 1.20 to 18.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.15% or 0.07 to $47.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.74% or 0.40 to hit $53.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.01% or 13.70 to trade at $1337.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.44% to 4.4914, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 91.74.
