Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Retail and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.29% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201), which rose 5.27% or 2.70 points to trade at 53.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Halwani Bros (SE:6001) added 4.71% or 2.90 points to end at 64.50 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) was up 4.05% or 0.60 points to 15.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sedco Capital REIT (SE:4344), which fell 2.52% or 0.22 points to trade at 8.52 at the close. City Cement Co (SE:3003) declined 2.39% or 0.42 points to end at 17.18 and AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) was down 2.39% or 0.34 points to 13.88.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 130 to 56 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Halwani Bros (SE:6001) rose to 3-years highs; up 4.71% or 2.90 to 64.50.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.79% or 0.74 to $40.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.64% or 0.72 to hit $43.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.79% or 33.95 to trade at $1931.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.92% to 4.4083, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 93.605.
