Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Retail sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020), which rose 10.00% or 1.78 points to trade at 19.58 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) added 10.00% or 17.00 points to end at 187.00 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim Shaker (TADAWUL:1214) was up 5.40% or 1.35 points to 26.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 6.67% or 1.40 points to trade at 19.60 at the close. Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL:1832) declined 6.08% or 0.27 points to end at 4.17 and Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (TADAWUL:2070) was down 4.03% or 1.75 points to 41.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 154 to 100 and 27 ended unchanged.
Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) rose to 52-week highs; rising 10.00% or 1.78 to 19.58. Shares in Arabian Contracting Services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4071) rose to all time highs; gaining 10.00% or 17.00 to 187.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.22% or 1.60 to $70.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.34% or 1.02 to hit $75.07 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.34% or 26.40 to trade at $1,944.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 102.18.
