Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 declined 0.34%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA), which rose 2.95% or 0.0100 points to trade at 0.3490 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) added 1.52% or 0.0130 points to end at 0.8690 and Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS) was up 0.79% or 0.120 points to 15.220 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP), which fell 1.17% or 0.0021 points to trade at 0.1779 at the close. Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) declined 1.13% or 0.0260 points to end at 2.2830 and Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) was down 0.94% or 0.0390 points to 4.1250.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 23 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ibersol SGPS (LS:IBS) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.79% or 0.120 to 15.220.
Brent oil for June delivery was down 0.47% or 0.26 to $55.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May fell 0.30% or 0.16 to hit $52.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.35 to trade at $1288.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.36% to 1.0627, while EUR/GBP fell 0.24% to 0.8487.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 100.36.
