Investing.com – Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 gained 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI 20 were Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC), which rose 4.39% or 0.0420 points to trade at 0.9990 at the close. Meanwhile, Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) added 3.91% or 0.0980 points to end at 2.6060 and Montepio (LS:MPIO) was up 2.70% or 0.011 points to 0.419 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Corticeira Amorim (LS:CORA), which fell 1.36% or 0.155 points to trade at 11.245 at the close. Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA) declined 1.12% or 0.0030 points to end at 0.2660 and EDP (LS:EDP) was down 0.71% or 0.0220 points to 3.0880.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 22 to 15 and 4 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for July delivery was up 2.54% or 1.29 to $52.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 2.76% or 1.32 to hit $49.16 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.13 to trade at $1231.83 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.38% to 1.0973, while EUR/GBP rose 0.24% to 0.8498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 98.80.
