Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Telecoms and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the WIG30 lost 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the WIG30 were Asseco Poland SA (WA:ACPP), which rose 3.18% or 1.91 points to trade at 61.91 at the close. Meanwhile, Globe Trade Centre SA (WA:GTCP) added 2.64% or 0.15 points to end at 5.84 and KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:KGH) was up 1.87% or 2.30 points to 125.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were LPP SA (WA:LPPP), which fell 4.43% or 359.00 points to trade at 7740.00 at the close. Grupa Azoty SA (WA:ATTP) declined 2.81% or 2.47 points to end at 85.33 and Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:JSW) was down 2.28% or 0.37 points to 15.87.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 329 to 252 and 108 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.19% or 0.11 to $57.10 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.32% or 0.20 to hit $65.03 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.78% or 9.40 to trade at $1212.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.21% to 3.9972, while USD/PLN fell 0.55% to 3.6421.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.69% at 96.22.
