Investing.com – Peru stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Non-Metal Minerals, Mining and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General fell 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Relapasa (LM:REL), which rose 4.88% or 0.012 points to trade at 0.258 at the close. Meanwhile, Volcan Minera (LM:VOL_pb) added 4.84% or 0.030 points to end at 0.650 and Milpo (LM:MIL) was up 3.98% or 0.090 points to 2.350 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sociedad Minera el Brocal SAA (LM:BRO), which fell 5.51% or 0.350 points to trade at 6.000 at the close. Grana Y Monter (LM:GRA) declined 4.27% or 0.190 points to end at 4.260 and Trevali Mining (LM:TV) was down 2.82% or 0.011 points to 0.379.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 15 to 11 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.45% or 0.21 to $46.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $47.91 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.84% or 10.75 to trade at $1264.75 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.3260, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.7928.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 94.11.
