Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the S&P Lima Juniors, Non-Metal Minerals and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General gained 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Relapasa (LM:REL), which rose 2.77% or 0.007 points to trade at 0.260 at the close. Meanwhile, Trevali Mining (LM:TV) added 2.74% or 0.020 points to end at 0.750 and Minsur (LM:MINi) was up 2.31% or 0.030 points to 1.330 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ferreyros (LM:FER), which fell 0.63% or 0.010 points to trade at 1.570 at the close. Cem Pacasmayo (LM:CPA) declined 0.49% or 0.030 points to end at 6.070 and Milpo (LM:MIL) was down 0.37% or 0.010 points to 2.720.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 19 to 4 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Trevali Mining (LM:TV) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.74% or 0.020 to 0.750.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 4.15% or 1.73 to $43.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $45.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.57% or 7.70 to trade at $1344.20 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.3055, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.6856.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 95.90.
