Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Energy and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.62%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Yara International ASA (OL:YAR), which rose 0.06% or 0.2 points to trade at 351.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) fell 0.50% or 2.3 points to end at 458.6 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was down 0.52% or 0.40 points to 77.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 6.23% or 1.5 points to trade at 22.4 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 5.48% or 2.40 points to end at 41.36 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was down 5.21% or 0.47 points to 8.55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 132 to 49 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.83% or 0.44 to $52.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.45% or 0.25 to hit $55.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.45 to trade at $1197.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.45% to 8.8839, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 8.3163.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 100.49.
