Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Utilities and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 1.49%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE), which rose 10.67% or 2.7 points to trade at 28.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) added 4.92% or 2.36 points to end at 50.30 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 4.31% or 1.10 points to 26.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which fell 4.08% or 5.7 points to trade at 133.9 at the close. Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) declined 3.56% or 4.70 points to end at 127.50 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 3.29% or 10.6 points to 311.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 86 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.91% or 0.35 to $38.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.22% or 0.49 to hit $40.54 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.69% or 8.50 to trade at $1237.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.12% to 9.4021, while USD/NOK fell 0.58% to 8.2577.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 94.54.
