Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Food, Beverages & Tobacco sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.97%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL), which rose 1.70% or 1.5 points to trade at 89.6 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) added 0.80% or 0.11 points to end at 13.90 and Bw Lpg (OSLO:BWLPG) was up 0.74% or 0.50 points to 68.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS), which fell 5.78% or 0.9 points to trade at 15.0 at the close. Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo) declined 5.19% or 29.0 points to end at 530.0 and Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OSLO:REC) was down 3.97% or 0.09 points to 2.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 125 to 55.
Shares in Akastor ASA (OSLO:AKAS) fell to all time lows; falling 5.78% or 0.9 to 15.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.11% or 0.06 to $57.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.30% or 0.20 to hit $65.03 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.75% or 9.00 to trade at $1212.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.03% to 8.4095, while USD/NOK fell 0.79% to 7.6627.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.70% at 96.21.
