Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Energy and Auto & components sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 4.20% or 12.2 points to trade at 303.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 2.93% or 0.25 points to end at 8.60 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was up 1.85% or 0.3 points to 16.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 5.04% or 1.3 points to trade at 24.7 at the close. Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) declined 3.16% or 4.6 points to end at 140.9 and Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) was down 2.44% or 0.75 points to 30.01.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 87 to 82 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.49% or 0.20 to $41.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.07% or 0.03 to hit $43.26 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.22% or 16.35 to trade at $1357.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.71% to 9.4094, while USD/NOK fell 1.53% to 8.4244.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.17% at 95.56.
