Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Energy and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC), which rose 5.59% or 0.09 points to trade at 1.70 at the close. Meanwhile, DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 5.11% or 0.40 points to end at 8.12 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) was up 2.00% or 0.14 points to 7.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 3.20% or 1.1 points to trade at 33.3 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 2.22% or 0.70 points to end at 30.80 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was down 2.21% or 0.69 points to 30.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 97 to 78 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.55% or 0.68 to $43.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.89% or 0.40 to hit $44.67 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.95% or 11.70 to trade at $1241.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.16% to 9.2341, while USD/NOK fell 0.43% to 8.1897.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 94.69.
