Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Auto & components, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Media sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR), which rose 2.30% or 1.35 points to trade at 60.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) added 1.53% or 0.75 points to end at 49.64 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 1.51% or 1.8 points to 121.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which fell 3.77% or 1.18 points to trade at 30.12 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) declined 2.04% or 4.6 points to end at 221.1 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 1.86% or 0.39 points to 20.62.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 103 to 65 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.04% or 4.6 to 221.1.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.28% or 0.86 to $36.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.26% or 0.90 to hit $38.94 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.36% or 16.70 to trade at $1240.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.01% to 9.4832, while USD/NOK rose 0.09% to 8.3275.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 94.42.
