Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which rose 4.57% or 1.64 points to trade at 37.51 at the close. Meanwhile, Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) added 3.02% or 1.6 points to end at 54.5 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) was up 2.75% or 1.6 points to 59.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo), which fell 3.88% or 29.5 points to trade at 730.0 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 2.29% or 0.50 points to end at 21.30 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 1.78% or 1.2 points to 69.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 90 to 85 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.03% or 0.48 to $46.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.52% or 0.26 to hit $49.43 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.02% or 11.90 to trade at $1177.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.14% to 9.2676, while USD/NOK fell 0.68% to 8.1004.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.58% at 94.25.
