Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Transport and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 0.58% or 1.20 points to trade at 207.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 0.52% or 0.30 points to end at 57.90 and Schibsted ASA B (OL:SBSTB) was up 0.51% or 1.00 points to 197.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 4.32% or 0.23 points to trade at 5.09 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 3.73% or 1.87 points to end at 48.28 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was down 3.17% or 0.64 points to 19.57.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 105 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) fell to all time lows; falling 4.32% or 0.23 to 5.09.
Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $47.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.24% or 0.12 to hit $50.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.83 to trade at $1250.17 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.25% to 9.4146, while USD/NOK rose 0.34% to 8.6205.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 98.91.
