Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Media and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 6.10% or 0.06 points to trade at 1.11 at the close. Meanwhile, Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR) added 5.92% or 7.10 points to end at 127.10 and Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) was up 3.78% or 0.3 points to 8.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 5.76% or 1.2 points to trade at 19.3 at the close. Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) declined 3.48% or 0.4 points to end at 11.1 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) was down 1.87% or 2.0 points to 104.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 95 to 86 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR) rose to all time highs; rising 5.92% or 7.10 to 127.10.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.46% or 0.22 to $48.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.34% or 0.17 to hit $49.98 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1323.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.61% to 8.9780, while USD/NOK fell 0.72% to 7.9921.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 95.34.
