Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Materials and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 1.72% or 1.65 points to trade at 97.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 1.39% or 0.80 points to end at 58.42 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.29% or 0.8 points to 65.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which fell 2.12% or 5.80 points to trade at 268.10 at the close. Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL:NOFI) declined 1.84% or 2.00 points to end at 106.90 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was down 1.73% or 6.7 points to 380.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 106 to 73 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) rose to 3-years highs; up 1.29% or 0.8 to 65.8.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.44% or 0.31 to $70.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.33% or 0.26 to hit $78.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.78% or 9.40 to trade at $1197.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.20% to 9.7268, while USD/NOK rose 0.66% to 8.4096.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 95.48.
