Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Auto & components and Diversified Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 1.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 7.79% or 0.66 points to trade at 9.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 6.59% or 1.32 points to end at 21.35 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 5.62% or 0.11 points to 2.03 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG), which fell 14.73% or 6.86 points to trade at 39.70 at the close. Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) declined 0.58% or 0.35 points to end at 60.20 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 0.29% or 1.0 points to 348.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 128 to 49 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) fell to all time lows; falling 14.73% or 6.86 to 39.70.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.23% or 0.11 to $48.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $48.76 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.33% or 4.15 to trade at $1250.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.39% to 9.3349, while USD/NOK fell 0.43% to 8.3280.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 95.42.
