Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Auto & components and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 1.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which rose 3.78% or 2.5 points to trade at 68.6 at the close. Meanwhile, DnB ASA (OL:DNB) added 3.21% or 3.5 points to end at 112.5 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 2.69% or 0.82 points to 31.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which fell 2.26% or 1.2 points to trade at 54.0 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 1.95% or 0.30 points to end at 15.10 and Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) was down 1.63% or 0.2 points to 12.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 100 to 76 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.77% or 0.74 to $41.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.38% or 0.61 to hit $43.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.56% or 16.90 to trade at $1066.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.68% to 9.2320, while USD/NOK fell 0.20% to 8.6799.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 99.80.
