Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Telecoms and Materials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR), which rose 5.46% or 5.90 points to trade at 114.00 at the close. Meanwhile, REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) added 5.38% or 0.09 points to end at 1.69 and Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) was up 5.07% or 0.4 points to 8.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which fell 1.02% or 0.30 points to trade at 29.20 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 0.46% or 0.1 points to end at 25.8 and Opera Software ASA (OL:OPERA) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 51.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 133 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.14% or 0.06 to $43.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.13% or 0.06 to hit $45.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.35 to trade at $1344.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.67% to 9.3288, while USD/NOK fell 0.86% to 8.3971.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 96.11.
