Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX lost 1.22% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were Koninklijke DSM NV (AS:DSMN), which rose 4.81% or 4.75 points to trade at 103.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:KPN) added 0.90% or 0.024 points to end at 2.705 and Gemalto (AS:GTO) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 51.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aegon NV (AS:AEGN), which fell 3.27% or 0.151 points to trade at 4.464 at the close. ArcelorMittal SA (AS:MT) declined 3.06% or 0.562 points to end at 17.808 and Aalberts Industries NV (AS:AALB) was down 2.96% or 1.01 points to 33.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 100 to 27 and 13 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was up 14.94% to 16.28 a new 3-months high.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.38% or 0.86 to $61.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.94% or 1.38 to hit $69.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1284.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.20% to 1.1175, while EUR/GBP rose 0.13% to 0.8559.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 97.458.
