Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX rose 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were Galapagos NV (AS:GLPG), which rose 1.85% or 1.210 points to trade at 66.640 at the close. Meanwhile, Boskalis Westmin (AS:BOSN) added 1.39% or 0.47 points to end at 34.40 and SBM Offshore (AS:SBMO) was up 1.36% or 0.20 points to 14.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aalberts Industries (AS:AALB), which fell 2.37% or 0.79 points to trade at 32.56 at the close. ArcelorMittal SA (AS:ISPA) declined 1.22% or 0.103 points to end at 8.310 and ASML Holding (AS:ASML) was down 0.78% or 0.90 points to 114.45.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 71 to 52 and 14 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was up 1.88% to 14.85.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.48% or 0.80 to $53.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.38% or 0.78 to hit $55.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1257.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.30% to 1.0618, while EUR/GBP rose 0.42% to 0.8545.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 100.89.
