Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Food Producers & Processors, Forestry & Paper and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Sonasid (CS:SOND), which rose 9.99% or 29 points to trade at 324 at the close. Meanwhile, Involys (CS:INV) added 8.84% or 7.96 points to end at 97.99 and Risma (CS:RIS) was up 6.31% or 6.20 points to 104.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centrale Danone (CS:CDA), which fell 5.87% or 32 points to trade at 513 at the close. Cosumar (CS:CSMR) declined 4.91% or 13 points to end at 251 and Cartier Saada (CS:CRS) was down 3.85% or 0.77 points to 19.23.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 22 to 20 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Centrale Danone (CS:CDA) fell to 5-year lows; down 5.87% or 32 to 513.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.41% or 0.64 to $44.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.27% or 0.59 to hit $45.77 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.85% or 10.85 to trade at $1262.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.18% to 10.7940, while USD/MAD fell 0.05% to 9.9051.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 98.86.
