Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Construction & Building Materials and Food Producers & Processors sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO), which rose 9.95% or 2.09 points to trade at 23.09 at the close. Meanwhile, IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) added 6.49% or 6.70 points to end at 110.00 and M2M Group (CS:M2M) was up 4.11% or 11.70 points to 296.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA), which fell 4.55% or 1.04 points to trade at 21.84 at the close. Involys (CS:INV) declined 2.35% or 2.45 points to end at 102.00 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) was down 2.00% or 6 points to 314.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 16 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Involys (CS:INV) fell to all time lows; losing 2.35% or 2.45 to 102.00. Shares in Sonasid (CS:SOND) fell to all time lows; down 2.00% or 6 to 314.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.23% or 0.11 to $48.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.55% or 0.28 to hit $51.17 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 3.03% or 39.75 to trade at $1272.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.8980, while USD/MAD rose 0.03% to 9.7300.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.53% at 96.16.
